Elements of Ceramics
Class of 2022
I am a sophomore at Trinity Episcopal school, graduating in 2022, and I am taking Elements of Ceramics. I have very little background experience with clay, only a few small creations in elementary and middle school. My inspiration for my show was my love of food. I personally enjoy all different kinds of food and trying new variations of it all over the area. I am a very unskilled user of the wheel in ceramics, so I decided to create all of my works by hand. For my display I decided to create a pizza, cheeseburger, and burrito; all by hand. I am most proud of my burrito due to the fact that the color really worked out well in comparison to my original vision for it. Hopefully, I will take Studio Workshop at some point in the future, but I do not see a bright future for myself in ceramics.
